Yuba Moods at Matteo's PublicI'll be showing photographs from January 10th, with an artist reception planned for Saturday, January 14th from 3-6pm at Matteo's Public, corner of Pine and Commercial streets in historic downtown Nevada City. The Saturday event is in conjunction with the 10th annual SYRCL Wild and Scenic Film Festival's Art and Wine walk. Prints in the show are 24"X30" printed on metallic fine art paper, thin gallery wrapped, with a "floater block" behind to set them nicely off the wall. Please join me in support of SYRCL and for our local treasure, the Yuba, and have a blast doing so!
Yuba Moods
Many of these images are being considered for "Yuba Moods - Meditations on the Yuba", a self-published coffee table style book currently in production. The images in these galleries can be purchased in a variety of formats, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit efforts to save the State Parks of Bridgeport and Malakoff Diggins, gems that need some level of supervision to preserve the historic nature of these places. |

Yuba Moods is a collection of images taken over 10 years by David Mauch Lovere, mostly of the South Yuba River, but also many parts of the Yuba watershed. David delights in early morning and late afternoon, when the softness of the light brings out the textures of the rocks and fluidity of the water.
